DATE CREEK TACOS

Roast (Any type)

1 can tomato sauce (or 2 cups homemade)

1 can green chilies

Poblano Sauce (to taste)

Salt

Pepper

Defrost roast, place in crock pot (without added seasonings or water!)

Set to cook all day on the stove (low heat) OR the oven at 250 degrees for the full day - Until meat shreds with a fork and little pressure.

​

Let cool -- remove the meat from the pot, shred and place back into pot with broth. Mhm, yummy broth. 

​

ADD: 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can green chilies & Poblano sauce (to taste). Add salt & Pepper. 

​

COOK on low heat for a couple more hours, or until liquid has evaporated and cooked into meat.

 

 Get your taco shells ready by frying in a hot skillet with olive oil, or over the grill for soft tacos. 

Gather your lettuce, limes, tomatoes, cheese & guac!
