Yuma Dump Cake
Dump together:
- 1 quart of sliced apples
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Mix well. Pour into buttered 9×13 pan. Bake 1 hour at 325° F.

Slice, core and peel apples. Add lots of cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice and cook slowly for 1 to 2 hours. Use a potato masher.
Slice apples into pot and add some water. Cook down until apples are tender. Blend until smooth or leave some apple chunks. Add sugar and cinnamon.
Slice apples, add raisins, honey, spices and wrap in aluminum foil. Place in campfire and bake until apples are tender.

Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat and beat in sugars, egg, and vanilla with a wooden spoon. Stir in dry ingredients and apples. Spread in greased 8x 8 pan. Sprinkle top with cinnamon-sugar (1 Tbls sugar and 1/4 tsp cinnamon). Bake at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes.
